Some important points:
 
*Physical fitness
The trek trail requires good health and physical fitness, especially when it comes to functioning at high altitude. Every participant will have to bring a medical certificate signed by a doctor confirming his or her fitness.
Porters will carry all heavy baggage
 
*Health and Safety
A doctor will accompany the group. Medical help, if needed, is available in Dharamsala Hospital. The trek leader will carry a basic first aid kit. All participants must make sure they have full health insurance.
 
 *Communications
During the trek no Telephone or Internet communication is available. Any urgent messages will be taken care of by the Dharamsala Chabad House.
  
*Kashrus
The food is provided by Dharamsala Chabad house and is all manufactured under the strike supervising of R' Shaul. 
 
*Timing
The best seasons are March to June and September –November, who ever like Monsoons can come for a mediation program in the July –August. It is recommended to combine the program with one of the holidays celebrated in a very special atmosphere in the Chabad House.
 
*How the groups are made up?
The trek program is for men only or for women only or for married couples while the meditation workshop can be also for a mixed group.
You can organize a group of minimum 10 participants and create your own schedule coordinated with the office.
The courses are highly recommended for high school and university students to upgrade their spiritual level and as social bonding workshop.
